FAQ

What is your salon doing in response to COVID-19?

We are taking a number of coronavirus precautions. Please review our new procedures.

I am interested in a steam manicure and pedicure. If I have a health concern, will you be able to treat me?

Older individuals and people with health issues are often suggested to perform their beauty care themselves. However, in many cases, it can be difficult to do this due to related concerns such as poor vision, limited range of motion, or lack of knowledge.

We take these health concerns into account before beginning the steam treatment. Thanks to our training and experience in nail technology, we can analyze a client’s hands, feet, and nails from a different angle and can identify any potential issues. If we see any changes or developments, we share this with our patients so that they can make informed decisions about their health.

If you have any health concerns, we are happy to discuss your situation and can consult with your doctor, if necessary.

What health issues can be treated with a steam manicure or pedicure?

Steam manicures and pedicures can treat a number of health issues. For instance, it is a great option for a diabetic pedicure. If you suffer from lupus, diabetes, or an impaired or suppressed immune system, the treatment is ideal.

What can I expect from a steam pedicure or manicure?

We make sure that you feel at home in our salon. You’ll be seated in our heated massage chair which you can personally set to your optimal level of relaxation. We use an eco-friendly system made of natural wood for both manicures and pedicures and all instruments used are sterilized or disposable. Steam is gentle on the skin and is heated to a temperature that is comfortable on all skin types.

You can read more about the steam treatment here.

What do I need to do before receiving a steam treatment?

We recommend that you do not shave your legs 24 hours before the treatment. If you suffer from diabetes, immune disorders, or other health issues, please let us know so that we may tailor our treatment to meet your needs.
